Senior Wellness Plan

Senior

Is your pet over seven years old?  We recommend our Senior Care program.

This Program includes a complete physical exam, a complete blood count, a complete chemistry profile, a urinalysis, thyroid hormone check and early indication testing for kidney disease. These tests can help in the diagnosis of cancer, infection, anemia and bleeding problems, and provides insight into the status of your animals immune system. The chemistry profile will assess the function of liver, kidneys, pancreas and other organs.  A complete urinalysis assesses kidney function, and can indicate urinary tract infections and crystals. It is rather common for senior pets to have underlying diseases which they are not showing symptoms of. For example, most cats don't begin showing signs of Renal Failure until their kidneys are only 33% functional. Early detection of disease could add years to your beloved pets life. The goal of the Senior care program is to provide a better quality of life for a longer period of time.
